Definition of Grifted

In case you don’t know what grifted means,

here is the definition for grift:

1. Money made dishonestly, as in a swindle.
2. A swindle or confidence game.

v. grift·ed, grift·ing, grifts

To engage in swindling or cheating.

Or to obtain by swindling or cheating.

I find money a very interesting subject, and even thought I am not really into grifting, the part that has to do with money is interesting to me.

When I look at the consequences to cheating and the way the law deals with you I don’t find that very appealing.  Making money is one thing, but if your risk losing your freedom for it then that’s just not very smart.

These activities take time and effort and if you’re going to be any good at them then they take some skill.  If you spent the same amount of time developing a legal skill there is an excellent chance that you could make just as much money and not risk being put away for what your doing.

So with that said, even though I personally would not have anything to do with grifting, it is still about money, and money is just interesting to me.
